SHOCKING: Police Seize Over 1000 Shoes From Local Shoe Brand Stores Amid Controversy

Authorities have seized 1,145 pairs of shoes from Vern's business premises, whose designs were seen to contain a logo resembling the word Allah. National Police Chief Razarudin Husain said the shoes were seized from their branches in Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Penang, and Kedah.

"However, no arrests have been made as we are still collaborating with the Department of Islamic Development (Jakim) to obtain further details," he said at a press conference today.

Yesterday, Vern's Holding Sdn Bhd stated that the logo design on the high-heeled shoe' soles they sold could be misinterpreted. They apologised for the matter, noting that the company had no intention of designing a logo to belittle or insult any religion or belief.
