Discussions over the #Blockout2024 movement, which calls on users to ban celebrities who do not use their social media platforms to support Israeli-affiliated companies and raise awareness of Palestinian causes, have been all over social media.
Daiyan Trisha is one of the people targeted in Malaysia's variation of Blockout 2024; she is allegedly not addressing the Palestinian cause on her social media platforms.
Daiyan responded to the accusations on her X account, refusing to stay mute in the face of criticism.
She reaffirmed her steadfast devotion to the misery of Palestinians and stressed that only Allah knows the right method to show solidarity with Palestine.
Daiyan further demonstrated her commitment to the cause by presenting proof of kind contributions to several non-governmental organizations that support Palestinian conflict victims.
The total money donated was RM100,000, with each gift amounting to RM25,000.
Her post has since received a myriad of mixed reactions from netizens.
