Study shows recovered Covid-19 patients could still spread the disease

06-Apr-2020

A study published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine shows that half of the patients who have recovered from Covid-19 are still carriers of the virus and that they could still be infectious for up to 8 days, even though they do not show any symptoms.

“This information can provide useful tool for clinicians and policymakers to ensure that recovered patients do not spread the virus,” researchers said.
