According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs report, up to 50% of all employees need to be reskilled by 2025. This was mainly due to the increasing job automation and the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The report also estimated that by 2025, 85 million jobs will be made redundant due to machines.
On the bright side, by the time, 97 million new jobs will emerge and form a new division of work between humans, machines, and algorithms. Besides, it was estimated that 40% of the employees will need around six months or less to be reskilled.
