After being under fire for hosting a grand wedding that did not fit the required SOPs, Neelofa and her husband, PU Riz is once again the subject of public backlash after evidence began to circulate on Twitter that she has allegedly travelled to Langkawi for her honeymoon, something that a regular law-abiding citizen would not have been able to do.

Needless to say, not everyone is happy about it.

Although there are no official resources to prove the authenticity of the claim, this certainly isn't the first time the privileged has been let off easy for breaking the SOPs.

Compared to us regular folks, there sure is a stark difference. Remember the newlyweds who got fined for breaking SOPs (which, coincidentally, took place in Langkawi) on their wedding day? Or this 17-year-old teen who was slapped with RM10K fine for simply not registering in MySejahtera?

Do the SOPs apply only to the poor and defenceless?
