A local businessman, Datuk Adly Kamarudin, 47, is facing over 69 charges for the allegations of committing fraud involving government projects.
According to reports, He allegedly ordered his employees to forge over 60 documents related to various projects with the intent of cheating the Public Works Department sometime between June 2019 to September last year.
As of now, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) DPP Ahmad Akram Gharib has granted bail to the accused at RM500,000 with one surety. Kamarudin is also required to report once every month to the nearest MACC office and surrender his passport to the court.
