A minor fire broke out at the Kek Lok Si Temple in Penang early this morning (Feb. 4) yet again.
This time, the incident occurred on the prayer table right under the Guan Yin statue at around 12.30 am. 
The fire involved prayer items on a table outside the temple . Firefighters from the Paya Terubong Fire and Rescue station arrived in time to put out the fire.
The fire was completely put out at 1.07 am and overhaul works were completed at about 1.30 am. No injuries or casualties were reported. The temple structure is not affected by the fire.
