And while those afflicted by such ailment are not known to cause disturbance in public, a plight incident in Tawau has raised eyebrows on social media.
In a video shared by a TikTok user @rzhcdrc_, her encounter with a mentally disturbed man has left her begging for safety.
She was reportedly about to exit her car to go to Maybank, when the man suddenly approached the vehicle and began kicking it repeatedly. It’s unknown what might have triggered such aggression.
Following the ordeal, she is urging authorities to implement stricter actions to safeguard the public.
It’s believed that an elderly woman had previously encountered a worse fate, whereby she was punched in broad daylight just outside of the premise.
