Scammer Claims To Sell British Short Hair Cats For Just RM300, But Demands Extra Charges For “Quarantine Cert”

That’s why you should adopt pets, instead of buying!

With endless scams going around these days, some people will do just about anything for dirty money, even it involves “pet selling”.

A man recently posted a thread on X, telling a story whereby his father had encountered a scammer who claimed to have sold British Short Hair kittens at shockingly low prices.

The one his father was particularly interested in was priced at just RM300, an amount which he unfortunately paid without hesitation.

However, upon payment, the seller then requested an additional RM450 on the grounds of obtaining a “quarantine certificate”, which will be refunded in the end.

Luckily, his father began to have doubts on the claims and refused.

Details of the scammer’s “business” have been disclosed as means to prevent others from falling into the same trap, and we hope they find justice very soon.
