Based on recent reports, you're about to get discounts on your summonses yet again, and it's a big one!
The police will be offering a 60% off your tickets during the unity government's second anniversary celebration at KLCC this weekend.
Home ministry corporate communications secretary noted that it's higher than the 50% which was offered at last year's anniversary event.
"With a larger venue this year, we are setting up to 25 counters for the payment of summonses. The counters will operate from 9am-6pm from Friday to Sunday", he said.
Last year's event at Bukit Jalil National Stadium saw a crowd of more than 4,000 people as early as 8am, with only 200 that were able to be served. Many left displeased and angry.
The ministry hopes for a much more effective system this year. PM Anwar will also be present at the event on Saturday at 11am, to launch the celebration.
