Looks like Darren Chan‘s empire no longer reigns supreme.
The 34-year-old Sugarbook founder was arrested yesterday at his Mont Kiara residence as the investigation towards the sugar dating app continues to intensify.

As you may recall, shortly after the statistics made by the Sugarbook website went viral, the MCMC was quick to take action and thus, the website was banned, although only for a short while. The website then emerged with a new domain altogether, namely Sucrebook.

That particular action, however, came with a consequence as you have read from the title. According to The Sun Daily, the man is currently being investigated under laws of the Penal Code related to soliciting for prostitution and for publishing a statement or rumor which can cause public fear or alarm.
