Ingredients:
115 grams COLD unsalted butter (roughly chopped) *Not softened or melted.
190 grams brown sugar *Brown sugar makes the cookies spread less in the oven compared with white sugar.
1 COLD large egg
210 grams plain flour or all purpose flour
40 grams cocoa powder (sifted)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
150 grams dark or milk chocolate chunks (chopped by hand)

Instructions:
1. Before starting to make the cookies, preheat the oven to 180°C. In addition, remember to line two baking trays with baking paper.
2. Then, prepare a large bowl. In the bowl, combine 115g cold butter and 190g brown sugar. Using an electric mixer to beat the mixture until it becomes creamy.
3. After that, add in a cold egg. Continue to beat the mixture until the ingredients are well-mixed.

6. Using a tablespoon to take out the cookie dough and put it on the baking trays.
*It is recommended for you to make 1 cookie with 2 scoops of tablespoon. Remember not to put the cookies so near with each other because the cookies will spread in the oven during the baking time.
7. Bake the cookies for around 12 to 14 minutes at 180°C.
8. Take out the baking trays from the oven. Put the trays below the fan and let the cookies cool entirely. The cooling process will make the cookies firm up.
9. Enjoy your cookie! You may match your chocolate cookies with a cup of milk tea. They are absolutely perfect match.
Small tip:
1. You may test baking 1 cookie initially. If the cookie spreads too much during baking and you are not satisfied with the thickness of that cookie, you may put the cookie dough into the fridge for at least 30 minutes. After that, try to bake again.
