A man's lifeless body was discovered washed ashore at Teluk Kemang beach in Port Dickson on Sunday, prompting an investigation by local authorities, police confirmed today.
Port Dickson Police Chief, Maslan Udin, reported that the deceased, whose identity remains unknown, did not have any identification documents on him. He described the man as approximately 165 cm tall with a stocky build, short hair, and fair skin. Notably, the body also bore a tattoo on the right hand.
According to FMT, the victim was found wearing black long pants, a blue short-sleeved t-shirt emblazoned with the Polo Sport logo, and a brown belt.
“Based on the physical appearance of the body, we do not suspect foul play at this stage,” Maslan said in a statement. However, he confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and the case has been classified as a sudden death.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the deceased or any potential leads to come forward and assist in the investigation.
