With the increasing consciousness of environmental protection, people keep searching for an alternative to replacing single-use plastic.
Beeswax wrap is one of the excellent choices. It could be used repeatedly by washing away the oily dirt sticks on the surface unlikely the plastic. There have several different uses of beeswax wrap:
1. Pack your light food to office/ school
Beeswax wrap is bendy and fold-able, it could replace the single-use packing paper we usually use for packing the sandwich, burger, tortilla wrap or rice ball. It is an ideal material for packing because it is bendy and could be wrapping different sizes of light food easily. Besides this, it is light and could suit any size of the foods as long as the beeswax wrap is slightly bigger than the size of it. It will not occupy extra spaces for your office/school bag save the space for other stuff.

2. Wrap your finger foods to bring out
Sometimes we just want to bring along a small pack of the finger foods instead of the whole bag to go out. We may pack some of it into the folded beeswax wrap without using plastic bag. Because of the fold-able characteristic of the beeswax wrap, we may fold it into a bag for our convenience to take out the finger foods.
3. Cover the leftover food and keep it in the fridge
What will you do for the leftover foods? Normally we will keep the leftover foods to a container, close the lid and keep it into the fridge. With the beeswax wraps, we could just cover the leftover foods left in the bowl and directly keep the bowl in the fridge. It could save the trouble to wash another container and because of the beeswax wrap is waterproof, it could reduce the air contact with the foods and slow down the food spoilage times.
4. Wrap the leftover cut food and keep in the fridge
Another fabulous function of beeswax wrap is it could substitute the plastic wrapping paper to wrap the cut foods and keep it in the fridge. Because of the fold-able and waterproof characteristic of the beeswax wrap, it could be used like the plastic wrapping paper. It is suitable to use to wrapping any shape and surface of the cut foods easily as long as the size of the beeswax wrap is big enough to cover.
5. Use as a funnel
If you could not found a suitable size of the funnel, you may roll the beeswax wrap into the size you want and turn it into a funnel. The good points of using the beeswax wrap as a funnel is the flexibility of the funnel. The holes could be bigger or smaller depending on the objects we intend to transfer. We don’t need the various sizes of funnel and we just need a piece of the beeswax wrap.
To be a responsible member of our planet, stop using the single-use plastic bag and starts using this excellent substitution- beeswax wrap.
