On Sunday (30 August), Marvel Studios released a short film in tribute to Chadwick Boseman who passed away on Friday (28 August).
Almost five minutes long, the video featured some clips from the Marvel film "Black Panther" and also clips from behind-the-scenes. The film also featured some words and praises said by the producers and actors from the studio in remembrance of Boseman.
"It was Chadwick Boseman's performance in '42' that really made us take a second look," says producer Nate Moore. "Chadwick is an amazing actor who we thought would fit perfectly with the MCU," Kevin Feige added.
"He's regal and grounded, and he brings a gravitas to it," says Lupita Nyong'O. "And I think he wore the crown with dignity."
"He did the work, obviously," Michael B. Jordan praised. "I just think he did an incredible job being true to the character."
As the Black Panther also appeared in other Marvel films, Boseman had a chance to work with the other superheroes as well. The film of tribute also showed the praises of those superheroes that he had worked with, including Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).
"We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe." - King T'Challa.
The short film ended with the headline "You will always be our king" indicating that Chadwick Boseman will forever be a king in our hearts.
