Following their displeasure with a lawyer who posted images and remarks combined with insults against royal institutions and Islam via Facebook, a total of 15 men filed a report against an alleged lawyer named William HS Foo on Facebook.
The lawyer's posting of multiple pictures of his pet dogs and naming them with honorary titles such as Datuk Seri, Datuk Seri Paduka, and Datuk Wira was obviously malicious.
He claimed that the impression given was offensive to both the institution of the monarch and the constitution that grants the title to elected individuals.
The lawyer even shared a picture of his dog wearing a hijab with the comment, "My Malay sister is wearing a hijab at home," on social media.
The group wonders why this person would act in such a blatantly disrespectful way towards Muslims and the royal institution. There is no question that these guys want immediate action to be taken against the lawyer, and they also stated that there was no need for an apology because the said behaviour was so hostile that it may potentially cause racial division.
According to them, they don't want a repetition of the unspoken May 13 incident to happen and the reason why they're making a report is so that the community is made aware of the situation.
"The public needs to know not to arbitrarily do this kind of action to insult any title given by the palace. We need to work together to protect the sovereignty, the Constitution and the laws of this country," he said.
A check on the lawyer's FB found that the photos had been deleted.
