Based on reports, "Ou Kaitai", a 24-year-old Chinese female motorcycle internet celebrity with nearly one million fans, has been reported to have drowned in a car accident in Wanning, Hainan.
Family members described the incident to media outlets noting that the vehicle fell into the river at a curve. Three of the four people who were in the car survived, but the window next to young sensation could not be opened at the time, which eventually led to her death.
On December 29 last year, she had a gathering with many motorcycle enthusiasts in Riyue Bay, Wanning, Hainan. At about 5.30pm, she and a few others who had just met left for a party. When the car reached a turn on the elevated highway, it rammed off and overturned into the river.
Yesterday (1 Jan), her family members stated that arrangements had been made for the cremation of her body.
Shortly before her death, she also responded to a netizen's comment, when they asked her where to sleep at night, to which she replied, "Sleep in the sea." Another netizen told her, "It's been a long time since she returned to Guiyang" and she said "I won't come back."
Her family recalled the experiences and with sadness said that they did not expect her words to come true.
