Imagine living on the streets or having to move from one place to another, just like this family of seven.

With five children aged between 3-11 years old, homelessness has forced the family to face severe conditions, including having to take shelter at shop sidewalks on most days.

According to Lembaga Zakat Selangor, they received reports from kind samaritans regarding the situation, and acted swiftly to lend a helping hand.

Besides cash aid, the family was placed in a homestay for two days.

It’s believed that the organisation has now managed to secure a rented house for the family to stay in, leaving them no longer homeless.
