Cats are thought to have nine lives, which may account for some of their occasionally naughty and inquisitive behaviour. A married couple recently posted on TikTok about their experience rescuing a kitten that got stuck in their car.

The couple was travelling when they heard meows coming from the car's engine room. They were concerned and pulled over to look around, but they were unable to locate the cat. They took the car to a mechanic because they didn't want to take the chance and asked the staff to assist in inspecting the car.

The workshop employees said that, despite investigating the vehicle, they were unable to locate the kitten that was rumoured to be inside the engine.

The couple then carried on with their travel to get back home. However, they heard the meowing again as they were driving. They conducted a thorough check and found that the sound was coming from the vicinity of the automobile tyre.

So the following day they went back to the same workshop to get rid of the cat. 

The workers hoisted the car and started looking under the tyre, knowing where to focus. It looks that the kitten got inside the car's body kit and was unable to get out. It is acknowledged that the driver does not own the kitten and is unaware of his origins.

As of the time of publication, the film had garnered 2.6 million views, demonstrating its popularity.

Given that the cat was in the scorching spot beneath the car, some online users felt sorry for it.

Simultaneously, internet users commended the pair for their attempts to free the kitty.

After being taken out of the car's bottom, the kitten was alleged to have made an innocent look, which made some internet users laugh.

It was suggested that the couple bring the cat home and give it the name "Saga."

The fact that they got the kitten food as soon as he was taken out of the automobile was even more touching to witness than the actual rescue operation.
