RM100 Per Month For 3 Months | Check If Your Are One Of The Beneficiary Under PEMERKASA

Under the PEMERKASA program, the government allocated RM 100 million to allow 300,000 poor people in Malaysia to purchase basic food at designated stores through their IC without the need of using cash. The Ministry of Finance has issued a statement earlier stating that the beneficiaries will be provided with monthly assistance of RM100 for up to 3 months to purchase basic food under the PEMERKASA program.

Rules For The Use Of RM100 Aid

1. Each beneficiary will receive RM100 per month for a period of 3 months.

2. When the beneficiary goes to the designated store to buy food, he/she needs to show his/ her identity card for the staff to confirm that the identity card has successfully received the amount of RM100, before being allowed to shop with his/ her identity card.

3. According to the list provided by the authorities, the foods that can be purchased through the identity card are limited to these 10 types, such as biscuits, bread, nutritious drinks, cooking oil, eggs, flour, white rice, noodles, canned food and cooking ingredients.

4. Each designated store will prepare a food list for the beneficiaries to buy. The designated products in this program will be attached with MY KASIH stickers.

5. The use period of each RM100 in the identity card is 1 month and cannot be exchanged for cash, but the beneficiary can use up to RM100 as many times as necessary within the period.

How Do I Know If I Am A Beneficiary?

No application is required for this program! The government screened poor urban households based on the E-Kasih database under the Social Welfare Bureau and cross-checked them through the BPR database to select 300,000 beneficiaries across the country.

The beneficiaries will be notified via SMS or Whatsapp and they check with the following steps.

1. Open the official website of PRIHATIN Kasih.

2. Enter the IC number.

3. Enter the verification code and click "Check Status".
