Food delivery riders are truly the backbone of our economy, especially so during the pandemic. They‘re vulnerable to unexpected obstacles and hurdles along the way just to make sure our food gets delivered.
In a viral video posted by the official Twitter of the Malaysian Crime Watch Task Force, a 20-second video shows a female delivery rider almost running over two elderly women who were conversing with each other inside their home. The female rider seemingly lost control over her motorcycle after speeding up to run away from a stray dog and accidentally crashed headfirst against the solid metal gate.
The female delivery rider seems a bit shaken post-collision, and one of the women helped to shoo away the stray dog that was chasing the poor rider earlier on. The woman did not lash out at the rider, and took a kind approach to help her. Kudos to the kind lady!
We do hope that the rider turns out alright.
