A male student from a technical secondary school suffered injuries on his back, chest, and legs, believed to have been bullied by a group of seniors over a teenage love triangle dispute.
According to the Melaka Tengah District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Christopher Patit, the victim's brother had filed a police report on the incident at 5:15 PM yesterday.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the motive behind the incident is believed to have been some kind of a predicament that occurred between the victim and a group of form five students: specifically due to the reason that the victim was having a "crush" on the same female student they also happened to be interested in.

"The victim, who is a form four student, claimed to have been bullied by a total of ten senior students at about 2 AM in the morning at the school dormitory," Christopher explained. "According to the victim, they started taunting him as he had lied about bringing in vape (electronic cigarettes), but further investigation revealed the actual issue, that is them being interested in the same female student," he said.
The victim was punched in the abdomen by a senior student, then beaten en masse in the dormitory room because they were was not satisfied with the answer he gave during their "interrogation" session. "The victim who was in pain was then forced to fight with one of the senior students until he suffered swelling and wounds on his body and legs," he said.
