It's been a neverending journey just to get to know who would be the ruling government and the next prime minister of Malaysia.
Following a meeting with the leaders of Pakatan Harapan and Perikatan Nasional this afternoon in Istana Negara, the King will meet with 30 members of the Dewan Rakyat from Barisan Nasional tomorrow at 10.30am.
This is for the YDPA to appoint a member of the Dewan Rakyat who, in His Majesty's judgement, can acquire the trust of the majority of Dewan Rakyat members as Prime Minister, as provided for in Article 43(2)(a) of the Federal Constitution.
His Majesty asks all Malaysians to be patient and calm until the process of forming a new government and appointing Malaysia's 10th Prime Minister is completed.
His Majesty further urged the people to unite in prayer in the hope that the process will be simplified and run smoothly for the benefit of our beloved homeland.
Seri Paduka Baginda urges everyone to join him in prayers that the country and its people are always blessed, and protected from all disasters and calamities.
