In a recent viral video, an Indonesian tourist was seen exploring Jalan Alor for a place to dine. Despite the multitude of food stalls in the area, he had to be cautious about vendors selling pork dishes. It was then that he discovered a stall serving Indomie Goreng, a dish from his hometown, which prompted him to give it a try.

Netizens were surprised by the RM15 price tag on the instant noodles, but to their astonishment, the man appeared delighted with his purchase, which included fried chicken for RM15 and iced tea for RM4.
The man noted that the taste of the noodles differed somewhat from those in Indonesia, with a denser texture likely resulting from a distinct seasoning compared to the Indomie in his home country and he likes the one here better. Additionally, he expressed contentment with the ample portion of chicken.
While netizens were initially taken aback by the steep price of the dish, they acknowledged the higher prices in Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang, given its popularity among foreign tourists. Many agreed in the comments that the food prices in the area were indeed on the higher side.
