A heartwarming act of compassion by a local woman captured the admiration of netizens after she went above and beyond to assist an elderly Singaporean man injured in a motorcycle accident near the Tanjung Kupang toll road in Johor.
According to a report by Berita Harian, the accident occurred on Wednesday, January 8, at around 6:40 PM, leaving two people injured. Among the victims was a 68-year-old Chinese man from Singapore who suffered severe injuries, including cuts to his face and hands that caused heavy bleeding.
One eyewitness at the scene shared their experience online, describing the chaos and the immediate attempts to help. "When I arrived, I saw two people lying on the road. One was not badly injured, but the older man was seriously hurt. Blood was pouring from his wounds, and he was becoming weaker by the moment."
Amid the crowd of concerned motorcyclists returning from work, a Malay woman emerged as a beacon of hope. "She stepped in quickly and provided emergency aid to the elderly man. The way she cared for him was like watching an angel in action," the eyewitness wrote.
The woman's calm demeanor and tireless efforts to comfort the man during his most vulnerable moments left a lasting impression on those present. "She treated him as if he were her own father," the netizen continued. Despite the severity of his condition, she stayed by his side, offering words of comfort and doing everything in her power to keep him stable until medical professionals arrived.
Once the ambulance arrived and took the injured man to the hospital, the crowd assisted in clearing the accident scene, including loading the man's motorcycle onto a pickup truck. However, the woman who had shown such remarkable kindness quietly disappeared, leaving behind no name or information about herself.
"I just want to say one thing to this sister's parents. Your daughter is truly an angel. Thank you, sister."
