Finland: Instead of getting his car repaired, a reluctant Tuomas Katainen took the daredevil route by deciding to obliterate his 2013 Tesla Model S to smithereens. He came to the unthinkable decision after being horrified by the jaw-dropping $22,600 quote, which was solely for the car's battery replacement.
Expressing his frustration, Katainen took the matters over to Youtubers Pommijätkät, and the rest was 'boom' history.
The Tesla was parked in an old quarry in Jaala where the group of explosion experts strapped it with 30kg of dynamite. The group including Katainen then watched the car go up in flames after triggering the explosion from inside a nearby bunker.
Ironically enough, a crash test dummy bearing a photo of Elon Musk's face was placed at the driver's seat to join in the action.
