It's been a longggggg day and some of us are starting to get tired of the April Fool's Day jokes.
Especially when the jokes, don't seem to be joking the right way.
For example, when a local media company, took to Twitter today to post an 'exposé' on their editor-in-chief in regards to 'workplace abuse'. They say "For months, the Cilisos team has suffered mental and verbal abuse by our editor-in-chief. We demand change and we will no longer stay silent."

Malaysians immediately responded. And they weren't too happy.
I think it's just plain stupid and obtuse to do something like this but I've seen the writer's takes previously and I'm not surprised. There are other things to joke about but abuse isn't one of them.

This is what happens when meme makers become journalists. https://t.co/43FLFPho9P
Work place abuse shouldn't be an April fools joke. So many people actually go through such things in their offices. This is their life and it is no joke.

Read the entire article shocked and ready to amplify the victims voices just to finish the article feeling honestly quite disgusted.

Just one question to the entire cilisos team: How is faking abuse funny? https://t.co/N1gbfeqxZ7
In the article, they mention all types of abuse the staffs have supposedly faced, throughout the last few months. Some of it include, Racism, Inflated Ego, Extreme and harmful political values - all very real problems. However, are they really happening at this work place?
No. No it isn't.
As you may have guessed, it turned out to be another April Fool's Day joke. Though, in the article they have included videos and photos documenting their case, all of it are simply staged for the day. Making even the trigger warning at the start of their article, a joke.
The article ends with a Here's how you can help and this is where they inform readers that the whole thing is for April Fool's Day and none of it is true.
"After careful consideration, we decided that this was the only way to go...for an April Fool's joke!"
In here, it is also shared that the editor-in- chief is in fact a nice boss.
Thoughts?
