The low-risk patient quarantine and treatment center at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) is 95% ready and is expected to receive patients next week, according to Mardi Corp Group Chief Executive Officer, Zaidi Shahrim.
“MAEPS will be receiving low-risk COVID-19 patients from around Lembang Klang, Melaka and a few areas in Perak,” he said during a live Skype interview with Bernama, adding that the MAEPS is also equipped with facilities such as beds, bathrooms, dressing rooms, toilets, rest areas and more.

The temporary quarantine center, having the capacity to place up to 600 patients at one time, will also provide clinical services, COVID-19 wards, resuscitation areas to stabilize patients during emergencies, as well as ambulance, pharmacy and pathology laboratory services, Bernama reported.
