The cost of living keeps rising every year, and this situation can be particularly challenging for those who are married and supporting a family. In order to make ends meet, wives often contribute by working alongside their husbands to provide for household expenses. This is the sacrifice made by a woman known as Afrin Najiha Makmur, who is willing to take on four jobs in a single day.

According to the mother of five, she is currently juggling multiple roles, including cleaning the mosque, earning income by selling beauty products and selling chocolate cakes and ice cream bars to support her family's daily life. She explained that she has been following this routine for the past three months, following a suggestion from a friend when she was struggling to find ways to earn money to help her husband, who does not have a stable job.

Najiha also shared that she suffers from a slipped disc but needs to work because she doesn't want to face financial difficulties as she did in the past. She shared her life story on TikTok, garnering sympathy from many viewers. However, some criticized her, thinking she was exposing her husband's faults in front of the public. In response, Najiha clarified that her husband is not lazy; in fact, he shares the responsibility of raising their children. She emphasized that her decision to take on multiple jobs is not because her husband is lazy but rather due to occasional issues like a broken motorcycle that affect his ability to work regularly. Despite the challenges, she appreciates her husband's efforts and responsibility in providing for their family. Currently, Najiha is seeking assistance from the Department of Social Welfare (JKM) and the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS).
