A primary school in Sekinchan has earned bragging rights for the impressive array of food offered at its canteen
A mother noticed how wonderfully the food was being cooked at her son's school canteen, so she proudly posted the spread on Facebook.
"The students at SJKC Yoke Kuan in Sekinchan are so fortunate! They have all kinds of dishes from Chinese, Western, and Japanese cuisine to choose from," wrote Chloe Fu.
In addition to being delicious, filling, and reasonably priced, meals are also tidy and hygienic. The cost of the food is from RM1 to RM4!
"I want to go back to school!" she joked.
The mother happily added that her son, who just entered Year One, has eaten sushi for three consecutive days since he started school.
A striking range of foods, including rice bowls, soup noodles, French breakfast, rice balls, sushi rolls, fried dumplings, and more, were displayed in the pictures she posted.
Furthermore, Fu disclosed to China Press that her oldest kid, who is in Year Four, has been inspired to attend school by the cuisine because he often talks excitedly about his meals.
That day, I was also attending the school for the first time, and I saw how delicious the canteen's food was!
"The kids now always discuss their meal plans for the next day and eagerly anticipate attending school," she commented following her youngest son's first day of classes on Monday, March 11.
More than 2,300 parents have shared the Facebook post, praising the canteen operator and talking about how wonderful it is to see school food becoming better over time.
