A video has recently gone viral on social media, showing a driver of a Perodua Axia at a petrol station who apparently forgot to return the fuel nozzle to its original position after refuelling, resulting in the fuel nozzle being pulled off when driving away.
Unaware of the situation, the driver drove along the road with the fuel nozzle "dragging" behind, leaving other road users bewildered.
In the video, it can be seen that when the driver was waiting at a traffic light, a passing motorcyclist stopped to alert him. Subsequently, the driver turned left, seemingly intending to stop by the roadside to check the situation.
It is reported that this incident occurred in Kelantan, but the exact time and date are not clear.
Many netizens have humorously commented on how bold the driver is, while others have questioned how he didn't notice through his side mirror, or else he would have surely noticed the fuel nozzle still inserted in the tank.
Additionally, some netizens jokingly said they might consider betting on the car's license plate number.
To all drivers, after refuelling, always make sure the fuel nozzle is returned to its original position before driving off to avoid similar incidents.
