Nursing homes are running out of money, food and supplies

As reported by FMT, Dr Tan Maw Pin of Universiti Malaya says that old folks' homes have been overlooked in the economic stimulus packages. "Authorities don’t know about them," said the gerictrician. "They don’t have food, alcohol sanitizers and face masks."
And since some residents have chronic diseases, they are at a high risk of being infected with Covid-19. "If one falls sick, they all die,” she added.
