As Malaysia slowly moves, in what we can only hope as the right direction, more announcements regarding the vaccination process, as well as the progress of our country with regards to the pandemic, have been announced.
Based on Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin's twitter page, here are a few things the people of Malaysia should take note of.
1. From the 1st of October onward, the Astra Zeneca vaccine interval between dose 1 & 2 will be shortened from 9 to 6 weeks.

2. A 3rd dose of the vaccine will be FIRST given to those who need it.

3. Vaccinations for teens aged 12-18 from their respective schools, begins on the 23rd of September 2021.

5. Taking a complete dose of the vaccine, has since proven to reduce the risks of ICU admissions by 83% and deaths by 88%.

6. Upon completion of your vaccine, keep in mind that your safety becomes your individual responsibility.
