His remark drew the attention of Malaysians, who told him that there are other better nasi lemak spots in town.

Nevertheless, other people were a little harsh, saying that his "character is showing" and that "despite the meal being terrible, he would still say it's delicious."
Some Malaysians, on the other hand, were much kinder, proposing several better nasi lemak places that he should try, which he gladly accepted. One even invited him to their home to taste their mother's home-cooked nasi lemak.
Instead of criticizing someone, why don't we just be polite and approach him in a more constructive manner?
Some people's nasi lemak preferences are somewhat subjective, and what you enjoy may not be what they like.
