We've all imagined what our future weddings might be like. For this couple, they envisioned a KFC-themed wedding, reflecting their deep love for the fast-food brand.
Heather Wong and her husband's first date took place at a KFC outlet, inspiring them to integrate the finger-licking-good brand into their wedding. Heather decided to reach out to her favourite brands, including KFC, and to her surprise, KFC was the only brand to respond.
Initially asking for a souvenir or wedding gift, Heather received more than she expected. KFC went above and beyond by sponsoring half of the ceremony, providing food, decor, and even the wedding bouquet.
The wedding featured over 160 servings of fried chicken and mashed potatoes, a complete backdrop with photo props, and a Zinger burger sofa. Heather was especially excited about her unique and delicious fried chicken bouquet.
The enthusiasm for the KFC-themed wedding extended beyond the bride, as the 60 wedding guests were equally thrilled. The KFC manager expressed their eagerness to sponsor the wedding as a gesture of appreciation for the bride's immense support and as a way for the brand to give back to loyal customers.
The sponsorship was estimated to be worth around SGD2,300 or approximately RM8,032.72.
