According to The Star, Husin Long, a 75-year-old Malaysian living in London, has died after testing positive for Covid-19, leaving behind his wife Zauyah Embi, his four children and several grandchildren.
His son, Mohammad Ali, said to Berita Harian that his father was admitted to the Royal Free Hospital on 20th March due to breathing difficulties, however, the medical team couldn't be sure as his father has several health issues. His lungs were not functioning and thus the medical team suspected it to be COVID-19.
Husin and Zauyah were both members of the Kelab Melayu London, which was established in the early 60s for seafarers, students, and travelers. The club and its members have been showing their support to the deceased and his family members on the club's Facebook page.
However, it is yet to confirm whether Husin's death is part of the Covid-19 statistics in London.
May he rest in peace.
