A 63-year-old retired police officer allegedly assaulted his 23-year-old neighbor, who is a chicken seller, because the neighbor was too noisy when working out at home.
It is believed that the incident happened due to the noises coming from the victim’s house when his home exercise equipment fell on the floor. The noises had prompted the angry suspect living next door to come out and shout at him for making noises regularly. The conflict ended up with the suspect attacking the victim with a parang.

The suspect reported the case to the police after the incident and was arrested. However, he claimed that he was only defending himself as the victim tried to punch him, according to China Press.
It is true that we may not be happy with what our neighbors do at their homes sometimes, but no matter what happens, we should NEVER resort to violence.
