Even though Milo is not technically a local brand (so before anyone comes at us, that‘s your disclaimer), Malaysians have personally adopted it as one of our country’s beloved national treasures. So much so that legends say you have not truly indulged our local culture until you‘ve experienced the Holy Trinity that are Milo Ais Ikat Tepi, Milo Dinosaur, and Milo Ais Kepal.

Apparently it was a craze back in Dec 2020, JP ppl bought so much they had to halt sales for the product until now when they had restocked https://t.co/hHwizHHhgJ
Seems like Japan has finally caught up with the Milo trend as well, and it has become quite the national obsession, apparently. But Japan, being Japan has of course added their own twist to the concoction— by adding banana and kiwi into the mix. The craze started last year in December and it got to the point where Japan had to put Milo sales on a halt due to incredibly high demands.
