Google Meet is probably the most frequently used communication service since the pandemic started, and most people can work out its basic functions, sure, but did you know you can do more than just handling a conference call with it?
Find out what more you can do with Google Meet below:
1. Did You Know You Can Split Your Screen?
This trick is especially helpful if you need to present whilst still wanting to keep an eye on your participants. To enable this feature, download the Dualless chrome extension and you're good to go. Simply click on the extension on the right top side of your screen whenever you want to use it.
2. Did You Know You Could Record Your Meeting?
To activate this feature, click the three buttons in the right corner, then click “Record Meeting". To end it, click "End Meeting". The video will be automatically added to your Google Drive and a notification email will be sent to you. Convenient, isn't it? Make sure to ask for everyone's consent before recording, though!
3. Did You Know You Could Add Subtitles?
It's quite easy, actually. Simply activate Meeting subtitles by clicking on the three dots in the lower right corner of a Google Meet then choose “Turn on Captions.”
4. Did You Know You Can Customize Your Screen?
Click “Present Now” at the bottom of your Google Meet to present your screen. From there, you can choose if you’d like to share the entire screen, a window, or a Chrome tab.
