Bali To Reopen Its Borders To International Tourists Starting 14th October, But Only These Countries Are Allowed
Who could resist a dreamy, akin-to-paradise vacation on an island such as Bali, renowned widely for its sublime views? Although the popular island has been "deserted" since the pandemic, the draught is about to be lifted.
Bali has planned to officially reopen its borders for fully vaccinated international tourists starting this Thursday, 14th of October with these requirements:
• Visitors are required to submit a negative Covid-19 test
• Visitors are subjected to governmental 8-day quarantine
The cost for the quarantine could range between $700 – $1750, depending on the hotel. However, not all tourists are currently welcomed. According to the government of Indonesia, only tourists from these countries are allowed entry:
• UAE
• South Korea
• Japan
• New Zealand
• China
The Bali Tourism Board (BTB) is reportedly unsatisfied with the announcement and currently urging their government to allow more countries in order to allow their economic crisis to effectively bounce back.
