This matter as ridiculously as it sounds, has become a heated debate among netizens in Singapore when a TikToker warned public transport users to take a shower before boarding the public transport.
In the video, Steph described the unpleasant body odor of an unwashed individual as smelling like 'unwashed sheets' and 'marinated sweat with greasy hair'.
The post uploaded by Steph received various reactions from netizens and some of them did not agree with her remarks because they had their own reasons.
One TikToker however, decided that it would be wise to disagree confidently by posting a video!

TikToker Xinhui asked netizens to stop asking her to take a shower in the morning because she doesn't want to wake up early just to take a morning shower.
"Please don't ask us to take a shower before taking public transport to work. Don't you see this? (while showing her eyebags) We haven't slept enough, yet you all ask us to get up early to take a shower. That will not happen," she said.
Following the reaction video, netizens flooded the comment section of the video asking this TikToker not to use public transport if she didn't shower in the morning.

Due to this debate, netizens then came up with the slogan 'Mandilah Singapura' (the title of Singapore's national anthem 'Majulah Singapura') as a reward for individuals who do not shower in the morning.
This current slogan is not just trending locally but even internationally, as more than one TikToker admits that they do not shower in the morning.

TikTok user Walmart Kelly Kapoor from Singapore shares how this debate has reached Japan as her students in Japan has walked up to her to ask if she showers in the morning.
