14 youths were charged under section 6 (1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2020. They would either be charged for six months imprisonment or a maximum fine of RM1000 or could be both. However, as the majority of them need to go back to work and sit for online exams, the council requested a fine instead of six months imprisonment.
