While the COVID-19 is rampant, the illegal group provided fake COVID-19 test reports and sold them to foreign workers for RM50 each. 

On June 5, the police together with 5 officials of the Ministry of Health, raided the mobile phone stall of a convenience store on Alor Street and arrested 5 members of the forged group. The arrested suspects were all foreigners.

Other than several fake COVID-19 test reports, the police also confiscated a laptop and printer on the spot. The police have identified that one of the suspects scanned the information of the COVID-19 test report into the computer and then used computer software to tamper with the purchaser's identity information for sale.

All of the arrested suspects were brought back to the Dang Wangi District Police Headquarters for investigation.
