Sometimes, on our darker days, the worse part of ourselves come to surface, and it's hard to hold the demons at bay. It's normal to struggle during moments like these, as we are humans after all.

However, what makes us stand out is when we go the extra mile to fix this part of ourselves, in the hopes to be better people of the world.

What are some of the things you and me, can do for ourselves, to be better, think better, and feel better?

#1 Don't project your insecurities onto people

Your insecurities will only go away when you make the conscious effort to make them go away. Throwing them onto others, will only make them as bigger and more visible than ever.

#2 Don't cling on to control

There is simply no use trying to gain control over things you have no control over. No matter how hard you hold onto it, the only person who is going to get hurt in the end is you. Learn to let go.

#3 Don't live in the past

The past is called the past for a reason. You can cling onto it for dear life, but there is no way to change the past. You are wasting your time, so just move on.

#4 Don't have self-limiting beliefs

You are as limitless as you tell yourself. If you sit around living in self-doubt, then you will never be able to go the distance. Believe the sky's the limit, and it shall be.

#5 Eliminate your need for constant validation

It is nice to feel validated, especially when you go the distance for something or someone. But do not be so utterly pathetic, that all you crave for is validation. Love yourself enough to respect yourself.

#6 Don't fear the unknown

We weren't created to know what the future holds. In fact, the whole appeal of the future is the unknown. You shouldn't fear something you don't even know. How can you?
