When making U-turns on the road, many among us can admit that we are guilty of making U-turns in places where you aren’t really supposed to make U-turns. The problem with making these kinds of U-turns is that without properly estimation you risk crashing into other vehicles on the road.
A recent video of a Myvi making a reckless, poorly estimated U-turn that caused two motorbikes to crash into it, went viral over social media.
At the beginning of the video recording, the Myvi driver tries to make a U-turn in front of a row of fruit shops on the side of the road. A few seconds later, a speeding motorcycle crashed into the front of the Myvi.
After that, another motorcycle crashed into the back of the car. However, the second motorcyclist managed to 'jump' and dodge to reduce the impact of the violation before the victim walked and lay on the road.
The video of the accident that was posted on @DashCamMsia’s Facebook page, received a stream of comments attacking the Myvi driver for making such a reckless U-turn.
Besides that, fellow netizens urged the public to make sure they check their blind spot to see if the road is safe before making a U-turn.
They also hoped that both victims in the video have a speedy recovery and to make sure they claim some compensation from the Myvi driver for causing them injuries and damage to their vehicles.
Let this video be a lesson to you the next time you try to make a U-turn.
