Malaysians are known for improvising our food but if this isn't weird, then I don't know what is.
Che Harun Ali is a roti canai seller in Kota Bharu that is known for upping his game in creativity in terms of how he's serving his roti canai to patrons.
We've seen roti canai that are squared and rounded, but how would you feel about one that is shaped like a snake?
Yes, you read that right.
Even though it gives people chills, many visit his stall to eat his viral Roti Canai Ular merely for fun.
Che Harun, who has been distributing roti canai for 33 years, said that the snake-shaped dish had been produced at his previous stall in Tumpat before moving to Kota Bharu.
The inspiration behind this dish was when a snake entered his home when he was making the roti canai dough. And so he thought, why not?
The popular Roti Canai Ular is made in five flavours: basic planta and condensed milk, milo, cheese, kaya, and nestum. Prices for the dishes range from RM1.50 to RM3.
Some of them are likewise terrified but nonetheless curious to try the dish because no one has ever done this sort of improvisation before. He and his wife Nor Azlina Husin open their business every day from 8 am to 11 pm.
So what do you think? Do you dare try this?
