JUST IN: PM Announces Additional Holiday If 1st Syawal Falls On Friday

PM Anwar Ibrahim announced that an extra public holiday will be declared on the following Monday if Aidilfitri falls on Friday, the 21st of April.
In the case that Aidilfitri falls on Saturday, the 22nd of April, the additional public holiday will be on Friday instead.
This will only apply to the peninsula and Labuan, as Sabah and Sarawak will have their own state holidays.
