A recent TikTok video posted by user @alongkualakrai has caught the attention of many netizens after it captured a bizarre incident on the road in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. The video, shared by a man known as Along, shows a situation that unfolded at a traffic light junction, leaving several vehicles temporarily stuck.

In the footage, numerous cars are seen waiting at the red light. However, when the light turns green, the vehicles remain stationary, not due to any mechanical issue or accident, but because the Mitsubishi Triton at the front failed to move. This unexpected pause quickly drew the attention of those behind.

The camera then shifts to the Triton driver, revealing an elderly man seemingly unaware of the green light. Along, who had also stopped at the same junction, captured the surprising scene.

In a more shocking twist, the driver, an elderly uncle, was found asleep behind the wheel while clutching a packet of food. It is believed that the man was eating while waiting at the light, but unknowingly dozed off mid-bite. As a result, the vehicles behind began honking in an effort to alert him.

Thankfully, a motorcyclist, possibly Along or another rider, took the initiative to knock on the Triton's window. After a few taps, the driver woke up and, seemingly startled, sped off once he realised the situation.

The video quickly gained traction online, with many in the comment section sympathising with the driver. Most netizens speculated that he must have been extremely exhausted, which led to him falling asleep even while eating. Others shared similar encounters on the road, noting how fatigue can unexpectedly hit, especially for older individuals or those working long hours.

While the incident ended without any accidents or injuries, it served as a reminder to the public about the dangers of fatigue while driving. Many praised the rider's quick thinking and expressed hope that the uncle reached his destination safely.
