According to KJ, "How can the Penang state government use a fake letter to accuse the federal government of blocking vaccine donations? This company does not exist. This is a vaccine, a highly regulated product. This is not buying a T-shirt from Shopee. This letter is bogus."
KJ also added that he would not hesitate to approve the donation with no delays if Penang's government could come forth with adequate evidence of the company's legitimacy. In response to this, Lim Guan Eng released a statement urging the private company responsible for the donation offer to provide evidence to clear its reputation.

During his virtual press conference, KJ read aloud the text conversation he shared with Chow Kon Yeow, Chief Minister of Penang; "We also want to get to the bottom, if it is bogus we will accept it. As being (in) our position, we are in full support of the national immunization programme. We did not blame you.”
What do you think of this whole ordeal, folks?
