Just got your booster shot in December?? Don't worry, you'll probably have to get another shot this year too..
According to Pfizer CEO and Chairman Albert Bourla, there is a high possibility that we will all end up getting vaccinated for COVID-19 annually.
Pfizer's Bourla also suggested that life could go back to normal towards the end of this year but only if COVID-19 vaccination shots are administered annually.
Bourla said that the virus will most likely spread all over the world and new variants will keep coming out. The vaccines will probably last at least a year so people will possibly have to get revaccinated annually.
However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet as research is still ongoing.
Just recently, after the development of the Omicron variant, researches have started studying the need of a 4th booster shot and Malaysians are very confused and tired of the never ending booster shots.
Since 2022 is all about being positive, I'm going to look on the brighter side and say that, annual vaccinations just means one more holiday added to our annual holiday list.
Also it just means, besides our birthdays and relationship anniversaries we get to celebrate our vaccine anniversaries or should I say #Vacciniversary. I talking about maybe a small party and some cakes and a few health related gifts from friends and family.. Sounds pretty good don't you think?
At the end of the day if annual vaccines is what is needed to get life back to normal, then I say, inject me!
